As a ski town favorite and based on a European Alps recipe, we have taken this classic and elevated it to another level. Our schnapps features a clean, sweet and authentic peppermint flavor. Without the syrup aftertaste, our product boasts zero artificial adjuncts, such as propylene glycol that is often found in other schnapps brands. The Chairlift Warmer was a Gold Medal Winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (50% ABV, gluten free).
Thoughtfully crafted at 8700 in picturesque Telluride, CO, each of our Telluride Distilling's spirits are crafted using pure Telluride mountain water and hand-picked local ingredients when available. Our meticulous process and dedication to quality has resulted in the most awarded artisanal schnapps in the world, as well as a lineup of delicious gin, vodka, whiskey, agave spirits and more.
Using only the finest ingredients, our mashing and mixing is done by hand using our 300 gallon mash tun.
Fermentation is done in our controlled environment in 550 Gallon Stainless Steel tanks.
We use a custom built Continuous Fractioning Column, this assures consistency and quality at a level unobtainable from a pot still.
Our whiskey is barrel aged in various types of new and used charred oak barrels, creating unmatched depth and complexity.
Using pure Telluride Mountain Water, all products are diluted and proofed to their exact claimed alcohol percentage.
As with all other processes, all bottling is done in house using a precise and automated bottling line then hand labeled.
